4/17/2015 UPSIDE DOWN

WOW!!!!  The last 11 days have been wild.  Joey and Jocelynn, (Joey's 5 year old daughter) my granddaughter have been with us for 2 weeks now.  This has definitely changed my every day lifestyle as I am taking care of Jocelynn.  It has been a long, long time since I had a 5 year old in the house full time.

And Jeff will now be here every other weekend when he is home and will have his children, the youngest 2 being 5 and 4.  That is really going to be crazy.  Jeff is an OTR truck driver so is on the road for 2 weeks, then home for a weekend, then back out.

I believe Jeff and Ashley are through.  And she brought it on herself.  I can't even feel sorry for her after everything she has put Jeff through.  And this was his second go at marriage.  Now 37, going through his 2nd divorce and a total of 5 children.  That's just nuts.  I told him he needed to wait at least 10 years before he even thinks about hooking up with another woman.  And the next time, look for a mature one.

My heart hurts for Joey.  Sherri is his one true love.  They have been together since he was 16 and she was 15.  They got pregnant while still in high school, didn't get married until Cameran was 4-1/2.  They have been through some really tough times, including a miscarriage.  Now, after a 15 year relationship, Sherri has decided this is not what she wants.  Trouble is, she doesn't have a clue what she does want.  Therefore, I have Jocelynn while she is sitting around doing nothing.  Not working, not working towards her GED, and definitely not taking care of her adorable little girl.

Now this little girl has kept me in stiches for the last 2 weeks.  She is so funny.  And what a little work horse.  No matter what I am doing, she wants to help and she does an excellent job.  I don't understand how her mom can stand to be away from her.  Cameran would be here too if not for school.  I live about 40 minutes away and that is a long commute everyday to get him back and forth to school.  Fortunately, he is 13 and he and Joey have had long talks about what is going on with Sherri so I think, I hope and I pray, that Cameran will be okay.  It's a lot for a 13 year old to deal with.  At that age, he already has enough to deal with.

I love my kids.  I love my grandchildren.  All I want for them is to have a happy life.  I hope that will happen one day soon for all of them.

Time for bed.  Night-night.
