4/30/2015 WOWSIE!!

I am still trying to get adjusted to having a 5 year old around all day.  I am really tired.  Getting up at 5:30am, driving 40 minutes to take Cameran to school and 40 minutes back.  Then I make the same trip in the afternoon.  Thankfully there are only about 3 weeks left of school.

Cameran seems to be okay with being here.  It’s peaceful for him. He is not getting yelled at by his mom all the time so he is calmer.

Jocelynn is just funny.  Yesterday she walked into the living room and asked my mom (who also lives in this household) “Where is your daughter at?”  She was talking about me, her grandma, but it was just so funny the way she said it.  Later in the afternoon she told me she didn’t like me anymore because I bossed her around.  I asked her who was supposed to be her boss and she said “Nobody.  I am 5 years old.  I don’t need a boss.  I can do what I want.”  Yep, like that’s really going to happen.  Unfortunately, for the past year she has been allowed to just run free and do whatever all day because her mom just didn’t pay any attention or did not care what she did.

It’s a learning experience, but we are getting there.  Will get a well needed break this weekend when the kids go to their mom’s and Virgil will be home.

When I got home from taking Cameran to school this morning, Mom told me that the Sheriff was here at 7:20am to deliver a court summons to Jeffrey for child support.  He scared her to death.  I’m out on the road taking Cameran to school and the first thing she thinks is that I have had an accident.

So dummy Ashley went up and filled out paperwork to get food stamps and cash assistance before Jeff ever moved out.  He has been paying the bills, fixed the car for her and did not start moving out until this past Saturday, April 25th.  He has the receipt from the storage place showing that he just rented it on the 25th.  They paperwork is dated April 21.  Then she lied to them and told them she has been the sole support for the boys.  What a morron.  I told him, “son, you need to get the babysitter to write out and sign a statement that you have paid for the babysitting for the last 6 weeks.  You need to prove that you have been paying all the bills and that you did not move out of the house until April 25th.  She will be in deep doo doo then because she lied to the child support agency and welfare.  I seriously don’t understand these girls anymore.  They are 30 years old, do not want to take care of the children that they “wanted” to have, want to party like they are 20 and want a man to support them while they do what they want.  Incredible.

Well, time to see what tomorrow brings.  One thing about it, there is never a dull day at my house anymore.
