It was really kind of funny when I opened the envelope from Rhonda just before Christmas. It seems great minds think alike. We had never talked about Christmas cards or letters and we both did newletters to send out instead of the traditional Christmas card. I would like to share Rhonda's letter here so everyone can see how wonderful she is.

To my family and friends
This has been a year to remember. A lot has happened and at this point, what started in April with us being told that the Mansfield GM plant was closing, is now at the point that we are waiting to see where my husband Butch gets placed. He has over 10 years in so not so close to retirement.
Our granddaughter Kiersten turned 4 November 15th.
Maranda turned 23 September 29th
Kasandra turned 21 August 22nd
Ryan turned 23 July 21st
Ashley turned 25 October 17th.
Butch blew his knee out in January, had surgery in February, went back to work in April only to be handed a layoff notice and was off until July 27th and has worked ever since.
Dad was in the hospital May, June and July with Pancreatitis but with prayer and the grace of God was better 6 months earlier than the Dr's thought he would be.
Mom is doing great and watches Kiersten during the day while Maranda works.
I am still working at the Bureau of Workers Comp and will have 11 years in January 4th. I am now off on a 17 day vacation. Yahoo!
God has been very good to us with all of our trials this year. We just pray everyday for peace in our hearts and love and understanding for those who have much less.
Maranda is working as a State Tested Nurses Assistant in the same nursing home she has worked at for 1 1/2 years.
Kasandra is working at a Sr Citizen facility. She's been there for about 4 months.
Ryan lost his job at GM and has gone back to college.
Ashley is in her 6th year of college.
