LONG TIME ----

It has been more than a year since I have posted anything on this blog.  I am ashamed.  I wanted to start this to get family members involved so we could keep up with each other and I let life take over and didn't take time to finish what I started.

So....Since my last blog last January, many things have happened in our little family.  March 19, 2010 we welcomed little Avery James into the fold of the family.  It's amazing that he will be a year old in a couple of days.  Saturday, we will attend his 1st birthday party!

In October, 2010, we finally got our hearts desire and moved back to Ohio.  We now reside in Columbus close to where Barr-Nunn Transportation opened a new terminal and brought Virgil back home from PA to set-up and manage this facility.  He is a wonderful man.  We have been together for 4 years now and I feel so very blessed to know him.

Our move was saddened, however, when Virgil's dad passed away 5 days after we moved.  It made our coming home very bittersweet.

It was wonderful to be home in October.  I got to attend 2 grandson's birthday parties (Jeffrey - 13 and Cameran - 9).  Then at Halloween I had the priviledge of going Trick or Treating with 5 of my grandchildren.  Awesome fun and the weather was beautiful.  I know they are growing up and soon they will not want Grandma hanging out with them.  So it's kinda cool, that I get another batch of young ones to watch grow up.  I won't be hung out to dry for a few more years anyway.

On November 19, 2010, we celebrated Mom's 70th birthday.  Many of the family showed up for her party and we had lots of fun. Mom remains in good health and for this I am very thankful.  We sure hope to keep her around for another 20 or 30 years.

It was wonderful to be home for Thanksgiving this year.  Christmas came very quickly following and there was much to be done.  The "Webb" Family Christmas Party was tons of fun and I was thankful that I could attend this year.  In December we celebrated Jocelynn's 1st birthday.  She is such a little doll.  We also celebrated Landon's 4th Birthday (Virgil's grandson) and Jeffrey and Virgil's son (who is also Virgil) both had birthdays in December.  December is becoming a very, very busy month for us.

I began a new job in December, and unfortunately, I do not like it at all.  I have to work evenings and Sunday, which makes it really difficult for us to spend time with family.  And isn't that the whole reason we wanted to come home?

Last Tuesday,  March 8, Mom and I made a trip to Florida with Joey & Sherri.  Joey and Sherri have now moved to Orlando, Florida and beginning April 4th Joey will start school to learn Motorcycle repair (especially Harley's).  I am very proud of him for taking this step forward and endeavoring to make his and his family's life better.  I am very, very sad that they have gone so far away.  I will miss my grandbabies, Cameran and Jocelynn, very much.

Jeffrey is still driving truck over the road.  He and Ashley are expecting another baby in June.  Don't know yet if it is a girl or boy.  They are in the process this week of moving into the house that they have been renovating for the past 6 months.  I know they are excited about this move.

Scott and Amanda, well they are Scott and Amanda.  Love them to death.  Haven't gotten to see them any this winter.  Hopefully warm weather is just around the corner and we will be spending more time with each other.

Tony is moving back from Kentucky tomorrow, Friday, the 18th.  He got a job with UPS here in Columbus and will only be about a half an hour away from me.  Steve and Nina are also in the process of moving into a new apartment.  Wish you all lots of luck with your new surroundings.  It seems really weird, but in a short period of 2 weeks I have both brothers and both sons moving.  HELP!  I am gonna be so confused.  Won't know where anyone is.  I certainly hope that other members of my family will now join in and keep us all up to date on what is happening on the home front.

Love you all,

Debbie
