Changes, Changes

Just a quick update on what's happening now....last month I started a new job and like it very much. Monday thru Friday, day shift. AWESOME!! The only bad thing about it is having to be there at 6:00am. I hate, hate, hate, getting up that early, but on the bright side, it beats working evenings like the other job. And there is no stress in this job. A lot to learn, but no push, push, push like GEA was. I like it!!

Joey and Sherri stayed in Florida for almost 4 months, then SURPRISE, SURPRISE, 2 weeks ago they came home. They didn't even let anyone know they were coming home. Found out after they were already here. Joey has already found a job and should be starting soon. That is very good news for them as I know things have been tough. Hope things start looking up for those two now!!

Tomorrow, Mom, myself, Amanda and Taylor will spend the afternoon for a "girls day out". Amanda's birthday is Tuesday and I am taking them all to lunch at East of Chicago buffet (Amanda's choice) and then we will go have a 4 generation picture taken. I hate getting pictures done, but I really think when Taylor gets older she will appreciate having one of the "girls" in the family. She will have a picture with Great-Grandma, Grandma, Aunt Amanda and herself. Hopefully in a year or so, Miss Jocelynn will allow us to take her and have a 4 generation picture made. I sure wish I had one of Dad and all the guys.

Virgil will be going on vacation to PA on Friday to spend a couple of days with Brandon. Chad will be going with him as a surprise for Brandon. Wish I could see Brandon's face when he sees his brother. Virgil so very much needs a rest and 10 days away from work will be wonderful for him. I swear if he turns his work cell phone on before the Monday morning that he returns to work, I think I will choke him. He needs to completely forget about that place for a few days.
